CREATIVE DIRECTION
01 / 05
OVERVIEW
FASHIONROCKSTAR develops creative concepts and visual direction for artists, designers and brands across fashion and music. Imagery, styling, beauty and setting are developed together to give campaigns, editorials, music projects and runway presentations a distinct and consistent visual language.
PROCESS
01 — CONCEPT
The starting point can be a collection, a music release, an existing brief or an idea still taking shape. The concept is developed around the identity behind the project, what it needs to communicate and how it will be presented.
This stage establishes the central idea and the creative approach that will guide the work.
02 — DEVELOPMENT
Visual research, references and moodboards translate the concept into a defined direction. Photography, movement, styling, beauty, lighting and setting are considered in relation to one another, with attention to both the intended image and its execution.
Depending on the commission, this direction can be presented through a creative treatment, moodboards and references for individual elements of the project. These materials give collaborators a shared understanding of the concept and a practical reference during preparation and production.
03 — EXECUTION
Creative direction carries into preparation and production, guiding visual decisions as the concept takes shape. Working with the collaborators involved, FASHIONROCKSTAR connects the different elements on set, from the presentation of the subject to the relationship between styling, beauty, lighting and environment.
The direction remains responsive to the location, the subjects and ideas that emerge during the shoot, allowing experimentation without losing sight of the original concept.
04 — POST-PRODUCTION
Creative oversight extends to the selection and treatment of the final images and footage. FASHIONROCKSTAR reviews selections and provides direction on editing, retouching and colour treatment, maintaining continuity between the original concept and the finished work.
For moving images, this can also include feedback on pacing and sequencing. The focus is on how the work comes together as a whole, ensuring the final presentation reflects the identity and intention of the project.
PROJECT SCOPE
Creative direction can cover selected stages or extend from concept development through final review. It can be commissioned independently or combined with photography, video, styling and beauty. Deliverables and responsibilities are defined for each project, with hands-on editing and retouching agreed separately from creative oversight.

PHOTOGRAPHY
SERVICE / 02
PHOTOGRAPHY
02 / 05
OVERVIEW
FASHIONROCKSTAR approaches photography as a form of visual storytelling, grounded in a mastery of light. A photograph can reveal character, establish an identity or suggest a story through a single expression, gesture or detail.
Working across fashion, music and editorial projects, each shoot is developed around the subject and what the images need to communicate. Light, shadow, composition and setting give the work its atmosphere—from individual portraits and release imagery to campaigns and photographic series.
PROCESS
01 — STORYTELLING
Every shoot begins with something to communicate.
The starting point can be a person, a collection, a music release or an existing creative brief. Research and references establish the narrative, considering how the subject, environment, styling and beauty contribute to what the photographs express.
Individual images are considered for what they reveal on their own and how they relate to a larger selection. The story can be direct or open to interpretation, communicated through expression, gesture, perspective and the relationships between frames.
02 — LIGHT
Light is both a technical foundation and a defining part of the image.
Its direction, intensity, softness and contrast are deliberately shaped to sculpt features, define silhouettes and reveal texture. Shadow receives the same attention, determining what is emphasized, what remains partially concealed and where the eye is drawn.
Each lighting approach is developed around the subject, location and intended atmosphere. The interaction of light with skin, fabric and the surrounding space becomes part of the storytelling—not simply a means of making the subject visible.
03 — IMAGE-MAKING
On set, the direction takes shape through composition and interaction with the subject.
Expression, posture, gesture and the placement of clothing are considered alongside framing and perspective. Subject direction explores how a person occupies the image, finding the presence and physical expression that suit the project while allowing their own character to emerge.
Technical preparation provides control without making the process rigid. An unexpected movement, a change in expression or the way a material catches the light can shift the direction of a photograph and become part of the final work.
04 — POST-PRODUCTION
The final body of work takes shape through selection and treatment.
Photographs are selected for their individual strength and how they work together. Colour, contrast and retouching refine the light and atmosphere established during the shoot, with attention to skin, fabric, depth and detail.
The degree of intervention follows the creative direction, from subtle refinement to a more expressive treatment. The final selection is developed with consistency in mind while preserving the textures, differences and individual moments that give each photograph its character.
PROJECT SCOPE
Photography can be commissioned independently or developed alongside FASHIONROCKSTAR’s Creative Direction, Videography, Styling and Beauty services.
Projects can include visual research, shoot preparation, lighting, subject direction, photography, image selection, colour treatment and retouching. Shoot requirements, final image quantities, post-production, revision rounds and delivery formats are established according to each project.

VIDEOGRAPHY
SERVICE / 03
VIDEOGRAPHY
03 / 05
OVERVIEW
FASHIONROCKSTAR approaches videography as storytelling through light, movement and time. A gesture, a shift in perspective or the duration of a shot can influence the meaning and atmosphere of an entire sequence.
Working across fashion, music and editorial projects, each video brings together deliberate lighting, subject direction and editing. Mastery of light shapes what appears on screen, while movement, pacing and the relationship between shots determine how the story unfolds.
PROCESS
01 — NARRATIVE
The direction begins with how an idea will develop over time.
Projects can follow an existing brief or begin with a subject, references or a concept still taking shape. The narrative establishes what needs to be communicated and how performance, setting and perspective contribute to that intention.
A video can follow a clear progression or build its story through atmosphere, repetition and visual connections. Shot priorities are developed around this approach, with the intended length, format and final use considered before filming.
02 — LIGHT + MOVEMENT
Lighting is developed for an image that changes.
As the subject or camera moves, light can reveal a surface, reshape a silhouette or allow a face to fall into shadow. These shifts become part of the visual direction, influencing how a moment is experienced and how attention moves through the frame.
The placement, intensity and contrast of light are considered alongside the movement of the subject and camera. Each setup balances the character of the individual shot with the continuity needed across a sequence.
03 — FILMING
Filming brings the visual direction into motion.
Performance, gesture, framing and camera perspective are developed together. Movement is used with intention, whether the image calls for a closely observed detail, a changing viewpoint or a held frame that allows the subject to command attention.
Footage is captured with the edit in mind. Planned shots are complemented by details, alternative perspectives and moments that emerge during production, creating room to develop the final sequence while keeping the work connected to its original direction.
04 — EDITING + FINAL TREATMENT
The story takes its final form in the edit.
Footage is selected and arranged through sequencing, pacing and the duration of each shot. The relationship between images determines how energy builds, where attention rests and how the piece progresses. Where music forms part of the project, its rhythm and mood are considered within the edit.
Colour treatment refines the light, contrast and atmosphere established during filming, maintaining continuity between shots. The final treatment brings the footage together into a complete piece, with versions prepared for the agreed presentation formats.
PROJECT SCOPE
Videography can be commissioned independently or developed alongside FASHIONROCKSTAR’s Creative Direction, Photography, Styling and Beauty services.
Projects can include visual research, shoot preparation, lighting, subject direction, filming, footage selection, editing and colour treatment. Production requirements, video lengths, final versions, revision rounds and delivery formats are established according to each project.

STYLING
SERVICE / 04
STYLING
04 / 05
OVERVIEW
FASHIONROCKSTAR approaches styling as a way of building identity through clothing. Silhouette, proportion, texture, layering and detail are considered not only for how they look individually, but for what they communicate when brought together on a person.
Working across fashion, music and image-making, styling can define a character, strengthen an artist’s visual identity, interpret a designer’s work or transform the way a subject is perceived.
PROCESS
01 — DIRECTION
The process begins by understanding the person, project and visual direction behind the work.
References are used to establish a point of view for the wardrobe: the silhouettes, proportions, textures and details that belong within the world of the project. Rather than dressing a subject around a trend, the objective is to develop looks that feel specific to the identity and intention behind the images.
02 — LOOK DEVELOPMENT
Individual garments are considered as part of a complete silhouette.
Proportion, layering, texture, accessories and the relationship between pieces are developed through look building and fittings. Contrasts can be introduced deliberately—structure against fluidity, restraint against excess, refinement against something raw—to give a look tension and character.
Each look is also considered in relation to the others, allowing a project to evolve visually without losing its identity.
03 — SOURCING + FITTINGS
Depending on the project, wardrobe can be developed through designer pulls, existing pieces, sourced garments and accessories.
Fittings allow the initial direction to be tested on the body. Length, proportion, movement and combinations can be adjusted before production, ensuring that a look works beyond the reference and responds to the person actually wearing it.
04 — ON SET
Styling continues once the subject enters the frame.
Garments are adjusted according to pose, movement, lighting and composition, with attention to how fabrics fall, silhouettes change and details appear through the camera. Looks can be refined throughout the shoot as the images develop.
For runway and performance, the same attention extends to how clothing behaves in movement and how individual looks function as part of a larger sequence.
PROJECT SCOPE
Styling can be commissioned independently or developed alongside FASHIONROCKSTAR’s Creative Direction, Photography, Videography and Beauty services.
Projects can include visual research, look development, sourcing, fittings, accessories, on-set styling and runway styling. The number of looks, sourcing requirements, fittings and level of on-set involvement are established according to each project.

BEAUTY
SERVICE / 05
BEAUTY
05 / 05
OVERVIEW
FASHIONROCKSTAR approaches beauty as a form of visual expression. Makeup can alter perception, reveal character, disrupt conventional ideas of beauty or become one of the defining elements of an image.
Working across fashion, music and editorial projects, each look is developed in relation to the person and the wider visual direction. Skin, texture, colour, shape and detail become part of the same language as styling, lighting and photography.
PROCESS
01 — DIRECTION
Beauty begins with the identity and intention behind the project.
References establish how the face and body should exist within the visual world—from restrained and minimal treatments to graphic, unconventional or transformative looks.
The objective is not to apply a recognizable makeup formula to every subject, but to find an approach that belongs specifically to the person, character or story being created.
02 — LOOK DEVELOPMENT
Colour, texture, shape, placement and finish are developed together to establish the character of each look.
Beauty can work subtly through skin and precise details or become a dominant element through altered proportions, graphic applications, unconventional materials and experimentation.
Every decision considers how the makeup will interact with the subject’s features rather than simply sitting on top of them.
03 — IMAGE + LIGHT
Beauty is developed with the final image in mind.
Skin, pigment, texture and reflective surfaces respond differently depending on lighting and camera treatment. Looks are therefore considered in relation to exposure, contrast, colour, framing and the distance from which they will be photographed or filmed.
This relationship between makeup and light allows details to be emphasized, softened, distorted or revealed differently through the image.
04 — ON SET
Beauty continues to evolve throughout production.
Makeup is maintained and adjusted as lighting, wardrobe, movement and framing change. When appropriate, the original look can also develop throughout the shoot—introducing new details, removing elements or transforming the makeup as the visual story progresses.
The result is beauty that participates in the image rather than functioning only as a finishing step.
PROJECT SCOPE
Beauty can be commissioned independently or developed alongside FASHIONROCKSTAR’s Creative Direction, Photography, Videography and Styling services.
Projects can include beauty research, makeup design, look development, application, experimental beauty and on-set maintenance. The number of looks, complexity and production requirements are established according to each project.
ONE PROJECT.
MULTIPLE DISCIPLINES.
Creative Direction, Photography, Videography, Styling and Beauty can be commissioned individually or combined within the same project.
The level of involvement is defined around what the project requires—from a specific creative service to the development and execution of a complete visual direction.
Every collaboration begins with understanding the project, its intentions and what needs to be created. Scope, deliverables, production requirements and timelines are established from there.
